Mission
Statement
The Technology Committee
was formed in April of 2002 with the following purpose:
This Committee will focus on any and all issues related to the
Internet, wireless communications, cable TV, meeting broadcasts,
in-house computer education, DSL, the new Douglas web site, or
other like-issues. It is proposed that the Committee be comprised
of at least three residents of the Village with experience and
expertise in the focus areas, and one member from the Council.
Additionally, there should be one member from the DDA assigned
to this Committee, as selected by the DDA. The meeting schedule
should be no less than monthly at the outset, and may be reduced
to bimonthly depending on need. Finally, the City of Saugatuck
and the Township will be invited to participate.
