The Assessing Department is in the process of visiting all properties within the City for the purpose of updating and computerizing property records. The "neighborhood reviews" will be conducted on an area by area basis until all properties have been visited. Homeowners will receive written notification prior to the visit. Included in the mailing will be a questionnaire requesting basic information regarding the interior of the property to aid in the accuracy of the data.

While visiting your property, staff will measure each building, notate pertinent information and take digital photos. An onsite interview of the property owner will be conducted whenever possible to confirm interior information.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we try to maintain accurate and equitable assessment records.

If you have any questions regarding this, please feel to contact me. I am in the City Office on Tuesday's from 12:30 to 4:30. I'm also available by appointment or phone.

The deadline for additions to the Council and Planning Commission agendas is the Wednesday prior to the scheduled meeting.
